I met Whitney last year , when I did pictures for the tennis team at John A. Holmes High School. So of course I was excited when she contacted me about doing her senior portraits. I remember Whitney from her tennis pictures with her amazing smile , bright blue eyes and adorable freckles. I could not wait to work with Whitney again.
I set up a meeting with Whitney and her mom Jennifer one afternoon in Edenton to talk about her ideas , locations and outfits. Whitney was a delight to talk too. I loved all her ideas about art, tennis and much more. The morning of Whitney’s senior session was sunny, hot and messy !! Yes, very messy and so much fun. When we finished the art part of Whitney’s senior session. We all went home to get cleaned up and ready for the second part of her senior session. The second part of Whitney’s session was at Bennett Mill Pond. It was absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, due to rain we had to reschedule the last part of Whitney’s session. The next weekend we met at the school tennis courts and it was game on. Whitney was rockin’ every shot on the tennis court. We finished up her session with some gorgeous images on the Albemarle Sound!
Whitney’s smile could light up a whole room and she is such a sweetheart. Thank you Whitney, enjoy your senior year to the fullest !! Here are a few of my favorite images from Whitney’s Senior Portraits !!
